宋友桂,男,博士,中国科学院地球环境研究所研究员,中国科学院大学博士生导师,陕西省中青年科技创新领军人才。先后在华东地质学院(现东华理工大学)、南京大学和兰州大学获学士、硕士和博士学位。从中国科学院地球环境研究所地质学博士后流动站出站后留所,历任助研、副研和研究员。
主要从事新生代地质与环境变化研究工作。近期主要开展中亚和黄土高原风尘堆积的年代学、粉尘来源示踪、矿物学和气候环境变化的研究。主持国家自然科学基金、中科院、中国博士后科学基金项目和国际合作项目10多项, 作为骨干成员参与了国家重点实验室管理和多项国家重大项目(973计划、国家重点研发和基金重大)和重大国际合作项目如ICDP的立项与管理工作。发表论文200余篇(SCI论文90多篇),其中第一/通讯100余篇(SCI收录50余篇),参与撰写专著2部,曾获省部级奖2项。
